Center TreeWhen the underbrush is cleared, this tree could make a good centerpiece in the courtyard of the Spanish Colonial style house we hope to build here.

ClearingOnce past the hedgerow at the street, there is an almost meadow-like clearing at the middle of the lot

Row of BushesThese large bushes are on the edge of the clearing in the middle of the lot. As well as cedars there are several holly bushes with red berries on them even as late as May.

Variety of VegetationThis land used to be part of a ranch, as was most of the land around here. There are many kinds of bushes, wild flowers, and cacti as well as limestone (LOTS of limestone) and those big oak trees.

Tree at CenterThis large liveoak is in the middle of the lot. When the cedars surrounding it are cleared it will thrive better, but it is already huge.

Large LiveoakMature liveoak trees are an asset on these lots. Not all lots have them, but "ours" has at least three.

Corner TreeThis liveoak tree is on the southeast corner of the lot we're looking at.

Post Oak on REAL lot #73We discovered when the survey was done that all the photos I'd taken earlier were actually on the next door lot, #74. This large post oak tree is actually on our lot. The liveoak off to the left rear of the post oak is also on our land. This lot has more trees than the one we originally thought we were buying, so we're not unhappy about the mixup.
